Hillary Clinton for Supreme Court ??

More information has turned up about the swirling rumors surrounding NY Senator Hillary Clinton.

In October, 2004, Newsweek opined – in a pre-election issue – Hillary Clinton might be John Kerry’s choice , if he were elected.

She would seem an unlikely choice for President Bush to select, but:

He doesn’t have to run for re-election, and is thus less restricted in his choices;

Mrs. Bush has voiced the opinion a woman should be chosen –possibly as a discreet "signal" of her husband’s intentions;

Hillary’s removal from the Presidential running field might benefit the Republican nominee in 2008; because the party could be promoted as "more in touch with modern values" than its Democratic opponent.

One big question is : How would the Media react to the prospect of "Justice Hillary ?

Would they swim along in her wake , like eager pilot fish grooming the massive flanks of a Great White Shark – or would they suspect she had "sold out" to Mr. Bush , and swarm her like blood-maddened barracuda ?

It’s an interesting situation !
